Swellinfo surf forecasts

West Coast Surfing Links

  • Washington Surfrider Foundation Pacific Coast Network
Up-to-date news and views from Washington Coast Surfrider Foundation chapters
  • Surfrider Foundation
There are Surfrider Foundation chapters all over the Northwest -- and world!
  • Westport Surfing Report
Westport is probably Washington state's best -- and most popular -- surf spot. Three breaks attract surfers from all over the Northwest and British Columbia. This is the best site to get a real-time handle on swell size, wind and weather. The site tracks a wide variety of swell buoy data and weather forecasts. And, if all else fails, the three webcams show what the waves look like at that very moment.
  • Swellinfo.com - Surf Forecasts - Surf Reports
A good site with fairly reliable surf forecasts for West Coast surf breaks. Swellinfo usually makes the right call for Westport and LaPush in Washington and Oswald West, Seaside and other Oregon breaks. All that said, nothing replaces actually being at the beach for the most accurate report.
  • Gorge Performance: Oregon's Snowboard, Surfboard, Windsurf, Kiteboard and Longboard Skateboard shop featuring
A good website and a good surf shop in Portland, Oregon. The site has webcam coverage of major Oregon surf spots, ski areas and windsurfing and kiteboarding zones in the Columbia River Gorge. Gorge Performance is also a top-notch surf, snowboard, kiteboard and windsurf shop. There is a wide variety of good new and used equipment, the folks are friendly and offer good advice and a surfboard repair person is on staff. If you're really lucky, they'll have some doughnuts from Voodoo Doughnuts in downtown Portland.
  • Welcome to www.westportSURFSHOP.com
The Surf Shop -- which was the very first surf shop in Westport, Washington -- is still the place to find a new or used board, coldwater wax, free tide tables and great conversation with owner Big Al Perlee. Perlee was was of the pioneers of Washington surfing. Perlee's son -- Dane Perlee --is a well-respected surfer and surfboard shaper in Northern California and was one of the stars in the terrific movie "One California Day." Big Al is always ready to share a story, some advice on surfing Westport or a smile. You know you're living life right when you hear Big Al say "Right on!"
  • Robert August Surfboards
I've been surfing Robert August boards since I was a kid growing up in Southern California during the 1970s. Most of my boards are still Robert August boards. I especially love the 9-foot-long "What I Ride" model and the 10-foot "Predator." Yeah, I'm 47, and I ride longboards....
